Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
Learn With Nini is a family-created math website for kids and families. We try to collect as little information as possible while still making the games and leaderboards work.
Information used by the site
You do not need to create an account or provide an email address to play the math games. If you choose to join a leaderboard, the site uses a nickname, an emoji avatar, game scores, level, best streak, and a randomly generated device identifier used to support leaderboard functions. A nickname and some preferences are also stored in your browser using local storage.
Leaderboard data
Leaderboard information is sent to our database provider, Supabase, so scores can appear on the public leaderboard. The leaderboard is intended for nicknames only. Do not enter a child's real name, email address, phone number, school name, home address, or other identifying information. You can also choose an anonymous Math Star name.
Technical information
Our website hosting and service providers may receive standard technical information needed to operate and secure the site, such as IP address, browser or device information, and request logs.
YouTube videos and subscriptions
Learn With Nini includes embedded YouTube videos and an official YouTube Subscribe button. The embedded player uses YouTube privacy-enhanced mode. When you play an embedded video, use the Subscribe button, or open YouTube, Google/YouTube may receive information needed to provide those services under their own privacy practices.
How we use information
Information is used to operate the games, save basic preferences, display leaderboard scores, improve the site, and protect it from misuse. We do not sell personal information.
Children and families
This site is intended to be used with family or teacher awareness. Children should use only a non-identifying nickname on the leaderboard and should not enter real names, email addresses, phone numbers, school names, home addresses, or other identifying details.
Questions or deletion requests
For privacy questions or requests to remove leaderboard information, contact hello@learnwithnini.com.
We may update this policy as Learn With Nini adds or changes features.
